Rain, rain go away

Pouring with rain, nothing in the garden apart from one very miserable looking collared dove sitting it out. Very challenging light but far more challenging for him!

Also, between downpours the fledglings are still busy learning the ropes. Plus the ever-dependable Dunnocks. A boring brown-job at a distance, up close they have wonderfully rich slate grey head and a vivid orange eye.

Garden bits and bobs

It's fledgling time, with lots of interesting characters and trusting youngsters. Also no light and loads of rain. What happened to Summer? Our equipment works pretty well in low light but most of these were taken at or beyond its limits, very frustrating.
