Erdigg

A Bank Holiday visit to Erdigg. Looked around the buildings and then a stroll around the trails. Despite all the recent dry weather we still managed to get muddy shoes. Nice walk but definitely need to bring walking boots next time.

Hollingworth Lake

Slogging around Hollingworth Lake under the blazing sunshine.

Hollingworth route
Very hazy and bright. Police helicopter and cars around the reservoirs, don't know what they were after. Definitely not the odd fella who was very insistent they weren't after him!

Shutlingsloe

Shutlingsloe from Tegg's Nose. Not quite the route we planned as some of the paths are blocked due to storm damage.

Shutlingsloe route
Lots of bluebells but all inaccessible behind fences. Saw a Dipper briefly on the Clough Brook.

Moel Arthur

The big walk from Moel Arthur up to Fron-haul. This time coming back via Moel y Parc. Very hot and sunny, glad we started early and remembered the sun cream.
