Lake District 29-31.7.11

A weekend trip to the Lake District.  The weather was lovely and sunny on Saturday morning.

Lingmoor
We had a trip to the  Lake Artists Society Exhibition which contained 280 painting/sculptures.

 
We then had a trip back via the Kurt Schwitters Merzbarn in which there is a canvas depicting the original sculpture which was removed to Newcastle.

In the afternoon we had a lovely walk to Skelwith Bridge and enjoyed some spectacular views.
