Bulkeley Hill

Checking the Damson situation near Burwardsley but mostly picking blackberries all the way round. We came prepared with bag and tubs and ended up with 3kg (6.6lbs for the old folks) in the freezer. Stocked up for a winter of apple and blackberry crumbles.

Not much photography-wise, too busy snaffling...

Fairfield

Not the Fairfield Horseshoe, but doing half the peaks starting at Rydal, more a Fairfield Boot. Very clear skies, and a bit of frost to begin with.

Nice light from the sunrise but couldn't make much use of it. We must go Alcock Tarn next time, the view looks good from there.

Delamere

A walk around Delamere Forest, mostly sheltering from the blazing sun.

The day started off very misty, which quickly burned off to leave bright sunshine.

Moel Famau

Our annual March march around Moel Famau and Foel Fenli (which is also Moel Fenli depending on which signs you believe).

A grey, washed out day so lots of grey, washed out pictures. It brightened up for the last few miles.
